Simply Shell command to create a mysql user.

shell> mysql –user=username –password=password

mysql> CREATE USER ‘monty’@'%’ IDENTIFIED BY ‘some_pass’;
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO ‘monty’@'%’ WITH GRANT OPTION;

Just started using the swype keyboard for android. It works fantastic. It is saving me a ton of typing and a to of spelling errors.

280 Slides – Chrome App

Just started using the Google Chrome App 280 Slides. It is PowerPoint in the Cloud and seems to work beautifully! Google is making some interesting strides with their Chrome Browser and latest Chrome OS. I can see a lot of benefit in working in the cloud. I am easily working on items and then picking up right where I left off on a different computer. No more need to save to a thumb drive and transfer files, everything is already there waiting for you. I do have a little trouble with opening up my private life on the cloud, but for the basic stuff, it makes sense.
